I am an Illustration graduate who is inspired by alternative fashions, burlesque and East Asian cinema and music. I use this account to show some of my work and some of the things I love and am inspired by. Some of my favourite celebrities that I like to draw are Dita Von Teese, Lady Gaga and K-pop group 2NE1. I use drawing inks and water colour paints to make my images.

‘I got that thang thang if you know what I mean, It goes bang bang, you can’t handle it!’ -Dara, ‘Try to Follow me’
(I am glad 2NE1 are unhurt and back in Korea after their ordeal in Japan. I am however very upset about the devastation, continuing danger and loss of life in Japan and feel helpless that all I can do is donate money and hope for them.)

Goodbye 2011!
Thank you followers for all the support you have shown for my art this year!
A special mention to Cynotia for choosing me for your band CD/website artwork, to Playful Promises for my commission over the summer (final results/ products coming in 2012!) and to all those who exhibited with me at SORTED London in June.
and to all the Little Monsters and Blackjacks who supported my Lady Gaga and 2NE1 fanart. THANK YOU! ♥

‘Japanese Street Fashion’ by Katie Woodger
Here is my entry for V Magazine’s ‘Drawn this way 3’ contest. It’s Lady Gaga from her press conference in Taipei earlier this month. (sorry about the watermark on this version. I don’t want it posted without credit)
I think I got my entry in on time. I got a weird email back saying the winners will be announced on July 7th, and yet this contest started around July 15th… so I am a little confused!) anyway! lets hope it makes it into the contest and I am crossing my fingers I win, but I will be happy enough knowing Gaga will possibly see my art.
For an exhibition in London I made some ink paintings inspired by Japanese Street Fashion in Harajuku. Many of the images were inspired by the ‘Street Snaps’ from the Japanese fashion magazine KERA. The image above is just one of these. There are more to come!
Sorry about the text over the image but I am sick of people taking my images and blogging them all over tumbr without any credit.

Don’t know which I prefer… ?
Please click to see it bigger! :D
As part of http://gagadaily.com/ a new website has just been opened: http://gagafancorner.com/ and it currently features some of my Lady Gaga artwork.
check it out if you are a Gaga fan! Its a site to submit works created by fans inspired and created for Lady Gaga. I’m sure it will grow in the future.
Wishing you a Happy Valentines day with this painting of Dita <3
