DISNEY HAVE STOLEN MY ARTWORK
I don’t know what to do. I am so upset. Can anyone help me?
My painting was created back in 2010, (see it HERE) and since then so many people have expressed their love for it, not just on tumblr, but in many places. At least 9 people had it tattooed on their bodies. It’s one of my favourite images I created at University and I was proud of it in many ways.
Disney have used it on a cosmetics bag HERE (look at the back)
and they have produced a Tshirt HERE with a really similar design clearly modeled from my painting
I’m so mad because I have no chance at getting Disney to do anything about it. I had so much respect for the company and now I am just SO upset and disappointed.
Any help, advice or signal boosting would be amazing. And thank you so much to the kind person who messaged me about this.

Various tattoos based on my original artwork here
I am not aware of all the owners of these tattoos. Some have contacted me to show me their ink, but others I have found online, or been sent by friends who found it floating around tumblr with no clear source as to who has had the tattoo.
If anyone sees any other tattoos of my Alice painting anywhere drop me a line! :)

A drawing of Alice that will eventually be part of a bigger illustration once I’ve composed the other elements

(Business card designs. Images on Left are Front designs, images on the right are their corresponding Back designs, which happen to be the same for both cards)
I made the old paper illusion myself mixing a few different textures and tea stained papers that I made (the final outcome was an edit of about 4 of these), and then complied them with my traditional ink drawings. I wanted them to have an old Victorian feel to them.
I was going to send off some business card designs earlier, but to my dismay I realised I had edited them all wrong. I’ve been trying to fix them all evening and I think I’ve done it. I’ve sent these two designs off for print, only a small number, just to test to see how they look. If they look good I will order more before our class exhibition in June.
I also have some other designs that I want to use, which aren’t quite done yet, I would finish them but its Easter Sunday and staring at photoshop all evening has made my eyes sting, regardless of how much chocolate egg I have eaten, so I will finish them tomorrow. Hopefully by our show I will have another business card featuring the Red Queen, and one that is -not- Alice in Wonderland related, just to make sure people don’t think thats all I like to draw. :)
Also I would just like the chance to thank all the people who have been so kind and reblogged and shown interest in my Alice Illustration as shown on one of the business cards above. Thank you people of Tumblr! :D
